The River Hills Consortium approved its 2025–26 lease agreement and reviewed the current budget during a short electronic meeting May 1.
The meeting was called to order by Cedar Falls at 10:10 a.m. Members first approved the meeting agenda and the Nov. 7, 2024 minutes. Jennifer Coombes, a River Hills staff member, provided an update on the 2024–25 budget; the minutes record an update but do not provide line-by-line figures.
The consortium approved the River Hills 2025–26 lease agreement. Coombes advised the lease language remains the same and that the lease increases $10,000 from the prior year to a total of $695,000. The motion to approve the lease was made by AGWSR and seconded by North Tama; the minutes record that the motion carried but do not list a roll-call tally.
The approvals recorded at the meeting were routine procedural items needed to keep consortium operations on schedule. The meeting adjourned at 10:24 a.m.; the next meeting is scheduled for Fall 2025.
