Mansfield, MA — At its Jan. 8 meeting the Mansfield Board of Health heard a request to modify local body-art regulations, specifically to update licensing requirements for permanent makeup.
Presenter Aubrie Goonan shared a PowerPoint outlining proposed changes and asked the board to consider updated permanent-makeup licensing requirements. Board members Emily Beura and Chris West prepared presentation materials to highlight the health department’s existing regulations for body-art establishments.
The board agreed to review the materials and said that, if it decides to proceed with revised regulations, it would need one to two months to develop the modified language before taking further action or a formal vote.
