Superintendent Ty Gray told the board that administration has been discussing participation and player-safety concerns and that a parent-and-athlete meeting is scheduled for the following week to address roster numbers, safety protocols and plans for the upcoming season. No formal action or policy was taken at the meeting; the district will use the meeting to gather input and assess options.
The board did not vote on athletics staffing during the meeting. Any roster decisions, coach assignments or safety revisions will be set by administration and athletic leadership following the planned meeting with parents and athletes.
