The Blandford Select Board approved the meeting minutes for January 5, January 12 and February 2, 2026. For each set of minutes, J. Coury moved approval, T. Cousineau seconded and the record states 'All in Favor.'
Under action items, the board voted to table Warrant #18 (payroll) after review; the motion to table was made by J. Coury and seconded by T. Cousineau with 'All in Favor' recorded. The board approved a one-day liquor license for the Gateway Education Foundation for an event on March 21, 2026; Town Administrator Cristina Ferrera said Gateway will provide insurance and Joann Martin will coordinate.
Three items listed under new business were tabled: a pilot adult-use marijuana cultivator/product manufacturer at 39 Gibbs Road; a Mission Clean Energy pilot at 89 Chester Road; and a USPS lease. The board also heard several department updates, including Planning Board staffing needs and a report that $200,000 had been approved at a previous Town Meeting for legal fees, of which $9,300 has been spent to date.
Later in the meeting the board voted to move into executive session under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30A, Section 21(1)(6) "to consider the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property," and stated they would not reconvene in open session. The roll call recorded J. Coury — Yes; C. Letendre — Yes; T. Cousineau — Yes. The meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m.; minutes were submitted by Joann Martin, Executive Assistant to the Select Board.
