Select Board approves Warrant #13, liquor license for Country Store and EPSEC appointment; conservation agent nomination tabled

At its Jan. 27 meeting the Blandford Select Board approved Warrant #13 (accounts payable and payroll), authorized participation in a regional bid process for highway work, granted a 2026 liquor license to the Blandford Country Store and appointed Dave Converse to the EPSEC committee; the planned appointment of Sabrina Pooler as conservation agent was tabled.

Cara Letendre moved to approve Warrant #13 for accounts payable and wired payments; T. Cousineau seconded and the board recorded "All in Favor," approving the disbursements. Letendre then moved to approve Warrant #13 payroll for payment; Cousineau seconded and the board again recorded "All in Favor." The board also voted to participate in the Franklin Regional Council of Governments collective bid process for the Highway Department after a motion by Letendre and a second by Cousineau; that motion was recorded as "All in Favor."
On licensing, Letendre moved and Cousineau seconded approval of a 2026 liquor license for The Blandford Country Store covering Jan. 1–Dec. 31, 2026; the motion was recorded as "All in Favor," granting the license. A separate motion to approve the Blandford Country Club's 2026 license was made by Letendre and seconded by Cousineau; the meeting minutes record the motion and second but do not record the board's final vote or outcome for that item.
The board recorded that the agenda item to appoint Sabrina Pooler as Conservation Agent for the term Dec. 29, 2025–June 30, 2026 remained TABLED, as had been motioned at a previous Select Board meeting. Later in the meeting Letendre moved and Cousineau seconded the appointment of Dave Converse to the EPSEC Committee for Dec. 29, 2025–June 30, 2026; the board recorded "All in Favor," confirming Converse's appointment.
