The council then considered a resolution to adopt the FY2027 fee schedule, which consolidates most city fees into a single schedule. "It's all the same — we're not trying to piecemeal only the ones that haven't been charged," a member of staff said in response to a question about a $60 street‑light assessment, adding that the fee structure applies across categories.
Councilman Sardi asked whether the $60 street‑light assessment applies only to new parcels or to existing parcels; staff replied it applies across all categorized parcels. The resolution to adopt the fee schedule was approved; during the sequence one councilmember registered opposition to charging existing residents.
On the FY2027 operating budget, the council confirmed that the budget maintains homeowner property tax at a zero millage rate. A member of staff replied, "That is correct," when the council sought confirmation that the budget keeps homeowner millage at zero. Council moved, seconded and adopted the ordinance on second reading.
The council also approved the city's five‑year capital improvement project (CIP) plan for FY2027–FY2031, describing it as the remaining piece of the overall budget package. Motions to approve the CIP and related budget documents carried on voice/raised‑hand votes.
On the consent agenda the council authorized the city manager to execute a construction agreement for the Peachtree Corners Circle Roundabout and to execute a construction change order for the FY2027 street resurfacing program; both items were approved without extended discussion.
The meeting closed with a request from a councilmember to enter executive session to discuss a real‑estate matter; the council approved the motion to move into executive session.
