Hazim Taib, Chief Financial Officer of the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, presented an overview of the authority’s 2025 Draft Budget and Plan of Operation and outlined the timeline for budget approval. The transcript records discussion following the presentation but does not record a board vote on the 2025 budget during this meeting.
Earlier in the meeting, Chief Executive Officer Executive Director Nandini Natarajan reported that CHFA received an award at the National Council of State Housing Agencies conference, secured funding from the Capital Magnet Fund and completed sponsorship of the Connecticut Housing Conference.
After the budget presentation, Chairperson Seila Mosquera‑Bruno asked board members for a motion on the consent agenda. Cindy Butts moved to approve the consent agenda and Timothy Hodges seconded; the board voted by roll call and unanimously approved the consent items. The consent agenda included financial reports; production and delinquency reports; investment and swap reports; a homeownership report; a multifamily activities report; a monthly tracking report; and minutes from the Sept. 26, 2024 meeting.
With no further business, the board adjourned by unanimous consent at 10:30 a.m.
