At its March 28 meeting NECCOG reviewed regional referrals and moved to approve them as presented.
The Town of Putnam requested rezoning of a parcel from R‑40 to Industrial to allow general warehousing and storage, open-lot storage of building materials and machinery, open storage of earth material, and heavy truck and tractor-trailer repair. NECCOG also recorded that Mansfield’s Planning and Zoning Commission initiated amendments to multiple zoning articles related to multi‑family performance standards, agriculture and home-occupation rules.
A motion "to approve as presented" was made by Barney Seney and seconded by Chris Lippke. The transcript records the motion and the second but does not include a roll-call tally; the meeting minutes indicate the motion passed as recorded in the meeting proceedings.
No amendments or conditions to the referral approvals were recorded on the transcript. Members were reminded that other agenda items requiring a two‑thirds vote would be handled separately.
