Three Oaks updates Chamberlain Path rain garden; Seeker sculpture refurbished with QR audio planned

Ira Johnson told the Parks and Recreation Board on Nov. 4 that the Chamberlain Path rain garden installation is roughly 90–95% complete, with remaining plantings, grass seeding and mulching to finish the project. Johnson thanked the volunteers who designed and carried out much of the work.
Larry Shawver reported that the Seeker sculpture has been refurbished and that Steve LaGattuta aims to coordinate reinstallation with DSW staff. Shawver said the board intends to establish a QR application that will provide a recorded explanation of the sculpture by the artist.
No formal board action was recorded on the path or the sculpture during the meeting; the updates were informational and volunteers and staff will coordinate remaining tasks and the reinstallation timetable.
