River Ridge CDD sets Aug. 27 hearing to adopt FY2025 budget; board discusses guardhouses and CIP

The River Ridge Community Development District scheduled its public hearing to adopt the FY2025 budget for Aug. 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. during the July 23 meeting. Supervisors Gilman, Twombly, Blumenthal and Mountford confirmed their attendance and Chair Bob Schultz indicated he will participate by telephone.
During budget discussion, Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal offered an updated five-year Capital Improvement Plan and board members reviewed potential design and permitting needs for planned guardhouses, proposals for construction, the feasibility of transferring funds into cash-sweep accounts, well work and the traffic hawk project. District Manager Cleo Adams said staff would provide periodic updates on major projects to ensure board members have necessary information before meetings.
The Board accepted unaudited financial statements as of June 30, 2024 and made minor corrections to previously approved minutes (spelling and role wording); the staff action list was reviewed and several items remain ongoing. The board did not adopt the FY2025 budget at the July meeting and will take final action at the Aug. 27 hearing.
