Holbrook School Committee approves $700 donation, student trip and 2024'25 goals in unanimous votes

The committee approved a Student Television Network Convention out-of-state field trip to Tampa Bay, scheduled for Feb. 28'Mar. 4, 2025. Mr. Gorman presented the field trip request and the motion to approve passed with a recorded vote of 5-0-0.
Members approved the School Committee's proposed goals for 2024'25, which include supporting student learning and engagement, aligning financial resources to district priorities, updating policies and procedures, and pursuing long-term facilities planning; the goals passed 5-0-0.
The committee also approved the Aug. 22, 2024 meeting minutes (motion and vote recorded as 5-0-0) and voted to adjourn the meeting at 7:57 p.m. (final vote recorded 5-0-0).
