Minocqua Plan Commission reviews final chapters of comprehensive plan; regional planner to finalize edits

Members of the Minocqua Plan Commission reviewed the final chapters of the town’s comprehensive plan during the May 26 meeting and asked a regional planner to complete final edits before the document returns for a formal recommendation to the Town Board.
Sam Wessel of the North Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission was present to assist the commission through the review. Commissioners made initial notations to update the existing plan; Wessel will complete the final edits and present the revised document back to the Plan Commission for final review and a resolution to recommend adoption to the Town Board.
The commission did not take a final vote on the comprehensive plan at this meeting; the item remains in the review stage and will be scheduled for subsequent consideration once edits are complete.
