The Rushford Village Council handled routine business at its Oct. 1 meeting and recorded several motions that were adopted by unanimous voice vote as recorded in the minutes.
The council approved the meeting agenda (motion by Rick Ruberg, second by Robert Hart) and accepted the Sept. 17, 2024 minutes (motion by Mike Ebner, second by Rick Ruberg). Members approved the September financial report showing expenses of $40,919.21 and receipts of $12,261.82 (motion by Mike Ebner, second by Robert Hart). The council also voted to cancel the Nov. 5 meeting because it falls on election day and set the sole November meeting for Nov. 19 (motion by Robert Hart, second by Rick Ruberg). The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m. on a motion by Robert Hart, seconded by Rick Ruberg.
Separately, during planning and zoning discussion the council approved a motion to waive a $250 fine related to an unpermitted 10'x16' building; that substantive item is covered in a separate report.
