The Village of Stockbridge council on July 1 tabled a proposed action to define the separate duties of the Village President and the Village Manager, after adding that item to the agenda.
Councilmember Howlett moved to table the motion, supported by Councilmember Cattell; the motion passed without recorded opposition. During the public comment period, two residents—identified in the minutes as Anderson and Ford—addressed the separation‑of‑duties item before the council tabled it for future consideration.
At the same time, council members also voted to table consideration of a Hydrocorp contract for the cross‑connection program and to table proposed changes related to Police Department vehicle outfitting and closing the Village Office for the MML conference. The minutes show these items were deferred, with no final decisions reached at the meeting.
