District installs 75 cameras, introduces two-factor authentication and blocks student AI access pending policy

On authentication and cybersecurity, Siciliano described a staff-focused two‑factor rollout in the weeks ahead and said student rollout will require additional planning. He described a low-cost "bingo card" authentication option for staff who do not wish to use a personal cell device and said key-fob tokens were considered but were expensive and prone to loss. The district also reported the high school cellular booster installation is complete and that AI services (for example, ChatGPT, Gemini) are currently blocked on the district network until policies, procedures and training are in place.
