The Village of Stockbridge council voted unanimously Aug. 11, 2024, to pay the Internal Revenue Service $20,283.72 to cover Form 941 payroll taxes.
President Ogden called the special meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. at Stockbridge Village Hall and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll call listed Cattell, Howlett, Powers-Taylor, Mullins and Ogden as present; Fairbotham and Morehouse were absent.
Council member Mullins moved to authorize payment of $20,283.72 to the IRS for 941 payroll taxes; Council member Cattell supported the motion. A roll-call vote recorded ayes from Mullins, Cattell, Howlett, Powers-Taylor and Ogden; no members voted nay. The motion carried.
After the vote, Council member Mullins moved to adjourn the special meeting; Council member Cattell supported the motion and the meeting adjourned at 4:06 p.m.
