At the May 13, 2025 meeting the Marlborough School Committee ratified a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the district and custodial houseworkers represented by AFL‑CIO State Council 93 Local 1709. The superintendent said the committee reviewed the MOU in executive session and then voted in public session to approve a three‑year contract effective July 1, 2025 through 2028.
The committee also accepted three donations in separate motions: Box Tops for Education to Kane School ($13.80); Global Alliance Energy to Wickham School ($500); and Special Olympics to Wickham School ($500). Each donation motion was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
No individual vote tallies or member roll‑call were provided in the public record at the meeting; motions were recorded as "all in favor" and moved in public session.
