Robert Hannah of Zacttax presented results from a 298‑response community survey conducted for Willow Park’s comprehensive plan. He cautioned the sample was self-selected and not statistically representative but said the responses provide useful early guidance.
Key findings included: 96% of respondents lived in the city or the extraterritorial jurisdiction; top community strengths identified were small‑town character, parks and local businesses; top concerns were road repair, aging infrastructure and property taxes. Respondents also expressed a strong desire for more transparent, collaborative governance and greater civic engagement. Mr. Hannah recommended more targeted outreach to younger residents, additional listening sessions and two upcoming public workshops to refine goals and planning priorities.
Council accepted the presentation and staff said they will schedule follow‑up engagement activities and post materials at willowparkpl.com.
