Mayor Derrick Mostella called the meeting to order at 7:33 a.m. Councilmembers Robin Bowlin, Edward Roscoe Lane and Denise Williams were present; Councilmembers Adam Abernathy and Shirley Smith were absent. Councilmember Denise Williams moved to approve the final meeting agenda; Councilmember Edward Roscoe Lane seconded and all present voted yes.
During the meeting the council considered Resolution 2025-037, described in the agenda as the canvass of the Sept. 23, 2025 runoff election. Councilmember Denise Williams moved to approve Resolution 2025-037; Councilmember Robin Bowlin seconded. All present councilmembers voted yes, and the resolution was approved.
After adopting the canvass resolution the council voted on a motion to adjourn. Councilmember Denise Williams moved to adjourn; Councilmember Robin Bowlin seconded.
