Council approves Class D liquor license for Casey's General Store #1845

The Broken Bow City Council opened a public hearing at 6:42 p.m. on April 27 to consider a replacing application for a Class D — Beer, Wine, Distilled Spirits, Off Sale Only — liquor license for Casey's General Store #1845.
City Clerk Kandi Peters told the council that Casey’s currently holds a Class B — Beer, Off Sale Only — license and is requesting a Class D license that would permit wine and distilled spirits in addition to beer for off-sale. The public hearing was closed at 6:45 p.m.
The council approved the replacing application on a roll-call vote; the minutes record votes from David Schmidt, Larry Miller, Jacob Holcomb and Chris Myers in favor and no nays. The motion carried and the license replacement was approved as recorded in the meeting minutes.
