Three Rivers athletics honored: baseball reaches MHSAA quarterfinals, multiple teams earn district and conference titles

Athletics Director Matt Stofer and the coaching staff recognized Three Rivers’ spring sports teams at the school board’s Aug. 4 work session, highlighting multiple district and regional titles and state qualifiers.
Stofer noted that the baseball team were District and Regional Champions and reached the Michigan High School Athletic Association quarterfinals for the first time in program history. The minutes list roster players by class, including seniors Brayden Balk, Carson Beuter, Wyatt Ferriby and others.
The girls soccer team was recognized as District Champions, with a roster that includes seniors Bekah Beachey and Sarela Cruz. Boys track & field were honored as Conference Champions and regional runner-up, producing 13 state qualifiers; the minutes list senior and underclass qualifiers. The girls track program had a state qualifier in freshman Olivia Wenzel.
