Pleasant Hill council passes consent items and approves intersection services; one abstention on liquor renewal

The Pleasant Hill City Council on Feb. 24 approved a range of routine and project items during its regular meeting.
Consent and related actions approved by roll call included meeting minutes, claims listings, financial reports, liquor-license renewals for Midwest Food and Liquor and Elks Lodge #98, a transfer of funds from Employee Benefits to the General Fund, approval of an equipment quote for the Carbon Reduction Program project, and setting a hearing and bids timeline for the Spring Creek Stabilization and NE 64th Street improvements. Those bulk consent items passed 5‑0.
Because of a disclosed conflict of interest, the Copper Creek Club liquor‑license renewal (consent item 5f) was removed from the consent agenda and voted on separately; the council approved that renewal with a 4‑0‑1 tally (Councilmember Konnor Hodges abstained).
Councilmembers also approved Resolution #022426-07, authorizing a Professional Services Agreement with Snyder & Associates for the Sherrylynn Boulevard and University Avenue intersection improvement project and related patching and overlay work. That resolution passed 5‑0.
Other consent resolutions approved included setting bid dates and establishing fair market value for Spring Creek Stabilization Project properties and approving the equipment quote associated with a Carbon Reduction Program project. Council adjourned at 6:49 p.m.
