The committee also voted to establish a Traffic Circulation & Safety Advisory Committee after John Ricci presented a purpose statement describing a one‑year advisory group to evaluate traffic flow and student safety at the Molin and Nock schools. Vice Chair Juliet Walker said the committee term would be one year but could be revisited for extension.
On policy, Kathleen Shaw brought forward changes to Policy ADDA (Background Checks) and ADDA‑R (DCJIS Model CORI/SORI). Both policy revisions were approved in separate motions.
Why it matters: approvals on student travel, background checks and a traffic safety study authorize immediate administrative work that affects student safety, compliance and district operations.
