Utica board holds closed session on superintendent's evaluation; returns with no action

At the request of Superintendent Robert Monroe, the Utica Community Schools Board of Education entered a closed executive session on Oct. 8, 2025, at 6:37 p.m. to discuss the superintendent's performance evaluation.
The motion to move into executive session was made by Becker and supported by Fitzpatrick and passed on a 7-0 roll call. The board returned to open session at 7:44 p.m.; the minutes state that no action was taken while in executive session.
Following the return to open session, Kelli Rankin moved and Becker supported a motion to adjourn; the board adjourned at 7:45 p.m. on a 7-0 vote.
