Mandy Ostaszewski, the district's director of finance and operations, told the committee the DPW agreed to pay for one curb cut and the Trust was being asked to fund the remainder, approximately $4,800. She said the two proposed vending machines would be stocked by Whitsons with DESE-approved snacks and would connect to the MySchoolBucks student payment system; she will return with projected revenue figures for each machine. Ms. Ostaszewski reported the Shaw Trust balance at about $129,000 with roughly $40,000'$45,000 in annual revenue.
Committee member Brian Killeen moved the approval, Liz Joyce seconded it, and the motion passed by roll-call vote 4'-0.
The committee did not specify immediate implementation dates; administrators will supply projected revenues and any additional procurement details at a future meeting.
