Tiffany Ambrose, a fitness instructor at Ellenville Regional Hospital and owner of Align AF Wellness, asked the trustees to allow a summer series called Move Ellenville at the Rome Road Park Pavilion beginning July 11. She described three class types — a high-energy session called 'Soak and Sweat,' yoga, and sound therapy — and said the program aims to improve physical and mental wellness and strengthen community connections. "I would like to take my fitness into the community of Ellenville," Tiffany told the board.
Staff confirmed Tiffany submitted a certificate of liability insurance. Trustees clarified the cost structure: a standard use fee of $50 and a refundable $50 deposit were discussed; because Align AF Wellness is a for-profit company, staff said it would be charged the nonresident/for-profit rate (the board identified $50 as the applicable fee per class). Tiffany told the board her class registration fee would be $25 per person. Trustees moved, seconded and approved the permit for use of the Rome Road Park Pavilion.
Board members encouraged Tiffany to coordinate with the street department for logistics and thanked her for bringing programming to the community.
