City Administrator Lisa Kotter used the administrative-report portion of the April 20 meeting to notify the council and public of several upcoming events and projects.
Kotter listed a city Clean-up Day scheduled for April 25 and noted an ISU student flood‑plain project final presentation set for May 7 at 6 p.m. at Red Oak High School. She said an RFPQ from consultants for a Brownfield grant is due April 28. Kotter also reported that the outdoor pool is scheduled to open in May, that the Oakwood Avenue water main replacement project is in progress, and that bids for the outdoor pool concession stand lease are due May 4.
Kotter’s report included scheduling: a special meeting is set for April 22 at 7 a.m. to hire a customer service position at City Hall, and regular council meetings are scheduled May 4 and 18 and June 1 and 15. The mayor adjourned the April 20 meeting at 6:10 p.m.
