Ashville council sworn in, approves city leadership appointments

At its Nov. 3 meeting the Ashville City Council took oaths of office, approved organizational resolutions and unanimously confirmed appointments for city clerk, police chief and fire chief.

All motions and resolutions during the organizational segment passed unanimously.
Councilmembers also approved Resolution 2025-041, establishing the organization of the City Council, and Resolution 2025-042 to establish the office of Mayor Pro-Tempore.
