River Ridge CDD approves goals and performance measures to meet new state reporting law

The River Ridge Community Development District board approved a Goals and Objectives report and a Performance Measures/Standards & Annual Reporting Form to comply with recently adopted state legislation, HB7013.
Mrs. Cleo Adams, Mr. Tony Pires and District Manager Chuck Adams outlined the requirement, explaining that the law requires special districts to establish annual goals, adopt performance measures and post an initial report. Management and counsel proposed three focus categories for fiscal year 2025: Community Communication and Engagement; Infrastructure and Facilities Maintenance; and Financial Transparency and Accountability.
The board approved the proposed goals and measures on a motion by Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal and a second by Supervisor Robert Twombly. The initial report is due on Dec. 1, 2025 and must be posted to the district website, a staff action that was added to the Key Activity Dates list.
