First‑grade teacher Mrs. Shelby Schwarzoff introduced the school’s student activities planned for the week, described classroom projects and noted fundraising plans supported by a development board that includes Marlo Young, Shannon Trader, Tiffany Rodenhouse, Dan Bolan, John Rosisca, Megan Bonser, Matt Williams and Amanda McCartney. Mrs. Schwarzoff invited the council and public to attend events including a kickoff and a school basketball game.
The council moved and seconded approval of the proclamation; the clerk called the roll and the proclamation was adopted.
