The Public Utilities Commission approved Otter Tail Power Company's 2025 energy efficiency status report, granted the company a $151,972 financial incentive for 2025, and approved a proposed energy efficiency adjustment factor of $0.00101 per kilowatt‑hour for July 2026 through June 2027.
Christina Zinniga (Otter Tail) told commissioners the company spent about 78% of its 2025 budget while achieving roughly 80% of its energy‑savings goal; the portfolio returned a total‑resource benefit‑cost ratio of 1.7. Otter Tail asked the commission to approve the 2025 incentive and the proposed adjustment factor; staff reviewed the filings and data requests and recommended approval.
A motion to approve the status report, financial incentive and adjustment factor passed unanimously.
