The Easton Board of Ethics met via Zoom on Jan. 29, 2026. Ben Lehberger, Co-Chair, called the meeting to order at 6:39 p.m.; members Craig Sternberg, Fey Dalay and Robert Santangeli were present. Deborah Szegedi, Town Clerk, is listed in the meeting header.
The board opened business by approving the minutes of the July 30, 2025 meeting after a motion by Ben Lehberger and a second from Craig Sternberg; the motion passed unanimously. Board members reported no items under old or new business.
At 6:42 p.m., Lehberger moved and Santangeli seconded that the board enter executive session to discuss complaint #13-01162026. The board voted unanimously to enter executive session. The board reconvened at 7:22 p.m. after a motion by Craig Sternberg, seconded by Ben Lehberger, to end the executive session; that motion also passed unanimously.
Following the executive session, Lehberger moved and Sternberg seconded a motion that the board find no cause to determine a violation of the town ethics ordinance arising from complaint #13-01162026. The vote was unanimous. The board directed that the complainant be notified of the decision.
Fey Dalay moved to adjourn at 7:28 p.m.; Robert Santangeli seconded and the motion carried. The meeting minutes are signed by Ben Lehberger, Co-Chair.
