The opposition is based on the damage it will cause to the Last Green Valley when we already have an alternative prepared site with power infrastructure supporting 80MW of power production in the Industrial Park that is already supported by local zoning, unlike the solar proposal for further destruction of our woodlands," the commission recorded.
Commissioners discussed options for how to convey their concerns to the siting council but the minutes do not record a formal motion, vote or a named correspondence plan in connection with that discussion.
