Council highlights Gullah Geechee neighborhood investments, CDC partnership and Bryant Road work

The manager said the town has aligned staff resources to support the CDC and a Gullah Geechee Land and Cultural Preservation Task Force.
The council expressed support for neighborhood-focused investments, suggested measuring CIP spending in historic neighborhoods and urged further grant-seeking for home repairs and lateral sewer hookups. Council members recommended drawing on members of the new Housing Action Committee to advise on Bryant Road and other catalytic projects.
