The Otis Planning Board continued the public hearing on a special permit for the Towhee Trail project to its May 11 meeting after a representative from the project’s designer requested more time to refine plans.
Matt, representing SK Design, told the board that test pits had been dug to check for bedrock and that the design team needs to submit revised plans. Hal Kobrin moved to continue the hearing to May 11, 2026; Ross Knowles seconded and the board voted unanimously to grant the continuance.
The continuance allows SK Design to submit updated plans addressing the test-pit findings before the board resumes formal consideration of the special-permit application.
