The banners are intended to be carried in the parade by volunteers or mounted afterward on the green and at the Stephanie Green kiosk.
On routine business, the committee handled a motion to approve the April 2 minutes; a voice vote was taken and the chair announced the motion approved. Attendance at that vote was recorded with four members present and two absent with notice. The committee did not provide a named second for the motion in the record.
Next steps include finalizing exact pole locations with public works and confirming who will carry or display banners during Memorial Day events and the July 4 schedule.
