Members asked the MOU team to confirm program availability for residential battery incentives. The minutes record Tanya Bodell saying National Grid has a program that pays residential battery operators about $175 per month if the utility can dispatch the batteries a certain number of times a year; she also said a Tesla battery can be leased for about $150 per month. The committee tasked Steve Wenner with researching balcony solar speaker options and instructed the MOU team to check whether National Grid's residential battery program is still operating or is oversubscribed.
Action items include Debbie and Julia investigating National Grid's status on Rip and Replace and drafting recommendations for the committee, and work on a small residential education grant if appropriate. No formal votes were taken on program changes at the meeting.
