During its June 24 meeting the Page City Council confirmed multiple appointments and reappointments to city boards and approved other administrative items.
Key actions included: reappointing Alan Nelson to the Page Utility Enterprises Board by Resolution 1348‑26 (unanimous); appointing Jim Walker and Brian Carey to the Planning & Zoning Commission (Carey approved 5–2); appointing members to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and the Library Advisory Board; reappointing Lily Crim to the Youth Advisory Commission; reappointing Tracy Parker and Josh Adams to the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Board; and appointing Sharon Watson to the substance abuse task force. Several motions were passed by voice vote; where the roll was requested, clerks recorded roll votes consistent with council procedure.
Council also unanimously approved a mutual aid agreement with King County Hospital (which arranges EMS through Big Water) to allow inter‑facility and other ambulance transports when Page units are unavailable. Finally, the council approved a special‑event liquor license for the Grand Circle Arts Alliance. Council asked staff to complete any needed resolutions and administrative follow up to formalize appointments and agreements.
