The Page City Council adopted Resolution 1346‑26, approving the city’s final budget for fiscal year 2027, at a special meeting on June 24.
The resolution was introduced by title and moved for adoption by Councilor Cogan and seconded by Councilor Hedington. Councilor Roundtree registered a standing concern that “large budget items that have not had review by the city council should not be placed inside of a budget,” but did not move to alter the measure. Mayor Kidman called the vote and the measure passed 6–1.
City staff had opened a public hearing on the budget earlier in the meeting but recorded no public comments. The council indicated the final vote closes the public‑hearing period and authorizes staff to implement the fiscal year 2027 appropriations as adopted.
No additional specific allocations or line‑item changes were identified on the council floor during the adoption. The council adjourned the special session following the vote.
