The Charlemont Conservation Committee voted unanimously on July 11 to accept Andrea Santos as a member of the commission. Bill Harker moved to appoint Santos and Scott Randall seconded the motion; the vote was recorded as all in favor.
The commission also reviewed an emergency work certification submitted by the Charlemont Highway Department for a Mountain Road culvert repair. Bill Harker said the repair involved an existing structure and that the certification was not strictly necessary, but the commission agreed to sign the submitted form after noting a member of the public had complained about apparent digging.
Thorne Palmer said he had spoken with LeRoy Page about a project at 104 West Oxbow Road; Page indicated he would submit a Notice of Intent. The commission approved the minutes of June 13, 2024 (motion by Clay Herbert, seconded by Scott Randall), and adjourned at 9:00 p.m. (motion by Clay Herbert; seconded by Scott Randall).
