Planning staff summarized the proposal: a 3,120-square-foot suite (suites 800 and 900) at the corner of Webb and Northpoint Parkway with a requested maximum capacity of 145 and hours of operation from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Planner Ms. Cook said the applicant had performed outreach to neighboring retail tenants and obtained a parking easement to supplement on-site parking; planning commission recommended approval subject to eight staff conditions. During the presentation, staff noted the prior tenant was a CrossFit gym and that proposed uses include corporate events, workshops and private celebrations.
Applicant Jolena Wilkins described Honey Hall as a reservation-only boutique event space emphasizing professional management, structured operations, and neighborhood-minded practices including ride-share usage, load-in protocols and noise awareness. She also said the venue would be welcoming to families of children on the autism spectrum.
No members of the public spoke for or against the item at council. Councilman Hipes moved approval subject to the staff report conditions; Councilman Dorito seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
What’s next: Staff will finalize conditions and permits, and the applicant may pursue required business licensing and any occupancy approvals.
