Approved changes included corrections in the PTO accrual table (adjusting year ranges and hours per year), renaming the Carry Over Maximum column to 'PTO Maximum,' clarifying that PTO accrual begins on the start date for full-time employees and will stop accruing if an employee’s PTO exceeds the listed maximum, and a payout rule that employees who resign or voluntarily terminate will be paid accrued PTO up to 240 hours provided they give at least two weeks’ notice to their supervisor or the city council. Councilor Dawn Christian moved to approve the listed corrections and clarifications; the motion passed unanimously.
