The Board of Education of the Corning Community Schools approved the district'025–2026 budget and set the tax levy at 13.05636 during a special budget hearing on April 14, 2025. The meeting began at 7:00 p.m. and adjourned at 7:14 p.m.
Board President Staci Venteicher called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and the board approved the agenda on a motion by Board member Adam Boswell, seconded by Board member Stephanie Hodapp. Board Secretary Jodi Lyddon conducted the budget hearing and said the tax levy rate would be 13.05636.
"The tax levy rate would be 13.05636," Board Secretary Jodi Lyddon said during the hearing. With no objectors present, Boswell moved and Hodapp seconded that the 2025–2026 budget be approved as presented. The motion passed by roll call vote: Howard Anderson, Adam Boswell, Stephanie Hodapp, Trent Roberts and Staci Venteicher voting yes; no votes recorded.
After the budget vote, Hodapp moved and Trent Roberts seconded a motion to adjourn; the meeting ended at 7:14 p.m. The minutes were recorded by Board Secretary Jodi Lyddon.
The action sets the district'025–2026 levy and finalizes the budget as presented at the April 14 special session. No public objections were recorded at the hearing and no additional follow-up actions were announced at the meeting.
