The Town of Berkley Board of Health approved and signed septic plans for Lot 1 Hudson Drive, Lot 2 Hudson Drive and 22 Bay View Ave during its July 22, 2025 meeting, and granted a variance allowing 50% overdesign for 177 Bryant Street.
Chairman James Romano presided over the meeting. Consultant Gerald Bernard reviewed the Hudson Drive plans and the plans for 177 Bryant Street; consultant Nyles Zager reviewed the 22 Bay View Ave plans. The Board approved, stamped and signed the Lot 1 and Lot 2 Hudson Drive plans and directed that approved copies be placed in the file and handed to Joe Malloch.
Board member Daniel Fournier made a motion to grant a variance allowing 50% overdesign for the septic plans at 177 Bryant Street; Patrick McCrohan seconded the motion. Patrick McCrohan announced "All in Favor," and the Board approved the variance. The Board then signed and filed the approved plans and paperwork for 177 Bryant Street.
The approvals were processed administratively: stamped plans and copies were placed in the Board’s folder and given to town staff (the transcript records Joe Malloch as the recipient). The minutes record the Board reviewed consultant comments before approving the plans.
The Board did not record mover/second details for the Hudson Drive or 22 Bay View approvals in the minutes, only for the 177 Bryant motion. The meeting closed routine business thereafter.
