They said interactive whiteboards are in year four of a four‑year replacement plan to complete purchases for Deer Hill and Osgood schools.
Officials also listed planned upgrades to indoor and outdoor security cameras and furniture replacement at the middle and high schools. New, smaller requests noted for FY27 included football uprights and performance risers for Deer Hill and the middle and high schools.
Committee members asked staff to factor these ongoing obligations into multi‑year capital planning and to confirm lease terms and timing so the committee can evaluate operating impacts alongside capital costs. No binding approvals or funding commitments were taken at the Jan. 12 meeting; the requests will remain under review as the committee finalizes FY27 capital priorities.
