Consultant outlines plan to align Littleton senior center programs and sustain growth

The Littleton Council on Aging on June 8 introduced Miran Kiosian as a strategic‑planning facilitator who will work with the board, staff and the Friends group to fine‑tune goals and sustain progress for the new senior center.
“I don’t think we need to start at ground zero,” Miran said, describing a strategic‑alignment approach that builds on existing goals and emphasizes coaching and follow‑up rather than a one‑time consulting report. He told the board he has worked with more than a dozen centers and plans ongoing check‑ins after the formal work is complete.
Director Liz said Miran’s approach and the promise of ongoing monitoring appealed to the board because it would help the center continue improving after construction and initial programming. Miran joined by video because he is recovering from recent surgery and said he will meet with the Friends, the board and staff to map a schedule for workshops and follow‑up coaching.
The board expressed support for Miran’s approach and agreed to integrate his facilitation into the council’s strategic‑planning timeline. Miran said he will provide a sequence of meetings and deliverables for review; dates and fees will be confirmed in follow‑up communications.
