Berea Board of Adjustments swears in appointee George Mendoza; minutes postponed

At the start of its June 24, 2026 meeting the Berea Board of Adjustments announced the appointment of George Mendoza to the board and administered the oath of office required by Kentucky law.
The board also postponed approval of the minutes for Aug. 27, 2025 and April 22, 2026, saying it needed three members who had been present at those meetings to adopt the minutes. No public comments were offered on items not on the agenda before the board moved on to a public hearing on a variance request for 112 Bow Bridge Drive and later adjourned.
