At the start of the session the Franklin County Commission moved through a consent agenda approving a series of commission orders and a reappointment.
The board approved commission order 2026‑169 to execute a 'city readiness' program contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Commissioners then approved commission order 2026‑170 authorizing sale of overplus land/back taxes to Blonde Blonde B LLC. Next the commission approved commission order 2026‑171, an agreement with GovWorks for subscriptions supporting the Franklin County 9‑1‑1 communications department, and commission order 2026‑172, a lease agreement with GFI Digital for the clerk’s office. The board also approved commission order 2026‑S173 to reappoint John Cheatham to the Scenic Regional Library District Board; a commissioner noted two openings on that board and encouraged applicants.
Motions were introduced and seconded from the dais and the chair called each vote; the transcript shows affirmative responses and the chair declared the motions carried. The commission also recognized Corporal Dara Bowles for five years of public service and requested a photo.
After public comment the commission had no department reports and adjourned following a motion that carried.
Provenance: Consent items introduced beginning SEG 030 and final approval/adjournment occurred at SEG 836.
