At a public hearing Oct. 27, the Select Board approved an entertainment license and Sunday entertainment license for Aquatic Brewing LLC, 661 Main Street, following a presentation by owner Alex Bergen.
Bergen told the board the brewery plans to host amplified and acoustic live music in the tap room area; the application area described the band location as near the front-left of the tap room. Town review (police, health, fire) raised no objections, though the health department reminded the applicant that food trucks serving the site must carry proper health licensing.
With no public objections recorded and board members expressing support for the small business, the Select Board closed the public hearing and voted to approve the license for Wednesday through Sunday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., including Sunday entertainment.
