Chair Daryl Anderson moved to reconfirm that the Nov. 4, 2021 site-plan approval applied to the two future buildings shown on the full civil drawings dated Nov. 6, 2020, provided the additional buildings were the same size and built of the same material as the first structure and that construction timeframes required by Section 6-45(L) were met. Commissioner Kim Morehouse seconded the motion. The commission approved the reconfirmation by unanimous roll-call vote.
Commission attorney John Gormley advised that the approval was limited: while staff may tell the applicant they may proceed with site work under the reconfirmed site plan, the approval does not resolve or authorize any sanitary sewer discharge or connection. Zoning Administrator Katrina Griffith asked whether staff could inform the applicant to proceed; Gormley said yes, but that the sewer issue remained unresolved.
Next steps: the site-plan reconfirmation allows Dogs Help L.L.C. to move forward consistent with the stated conditions; any sewer connection or discharge will require separate review and approval under applicable sanitary and utility rules.
